28 July 2000 - Friday - Atlantic Ocean - 52' 34'' N , 23' 40'' W

Antica is approaching Ireland - the sailing will finish in a couple of days. Captain is planning to make a stop in Port Rush (a small summer resort in Ireland). He'll stay there till August, 9th. Next he'll leave for Fort William in Scotland.

"Greetings for all the fans of the yacht and of our expedition. The Antica yacht on her way from New York to Northern Ireland.

We're 602 miles away from Ireland. The weather is fine, a bit foggy, quite cold but the winds support us and the temperatures don't disturb us too much. On board as it usually happens at the end of a long voyage we're running out of bread and fresh fruit. The moods quite good, the crew is already trained and feels the rhythm of the sea routine so they're helpful and efficient.

We're moving ahead to Ireland and I hope we'll get there on the 5th of August..."

Capt. Jurek W±sowicz
